(June 2023) I’m so excited to have my first vocal album! This album consists of songs that were released from 1952 to 1973, which is my favorite era of country music. The main influences behind this album are Kitty Wells, Loretta Lynn, June Stearns, Jean Shepard, Norma Jean, Dottie West, Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette, Connie Smith, Leona Williams, and so many more. I’ll dedicate this as a tribute to them and to ALL women of that era because I sure wouldn’t be making this music today if they hadn’t blazed the trails. One word to describe these songs—like most of classic country music—is “timeless.”

I couldn’t have made this album what it is without the time and talents that were contributed by Scott Napier and Virgil Bowlin. You knew exactly what approach we needed to take, and I’m so thankful for both of you and all your help. Thank you for being great friends and for believing in me enough to take on this project. …And thanks for letting me throw in a fiddle tune at the end!

(June 2021) I'm so excited to say that I've completed my second album, and I can't wait to share it with you all. I am playing all of the instruments* and I also did all of the engineering and album design. I want to thank my family, friends, and fans for always supporting my dreams, and I thank God for giving me the ability to make the music that I love and allowing the opportunities to share it with you all. I'm proud to be a coal miner's daughter from the mountains of Harlan County, Kentucky, and as far as music goes, country and bluegrass are my favorites. I hope that you find some tunes on here that you enjoy! (2021)

About

Natalie Tomlinson

Country & Bluegrass Fiddle player

Natalie Tomlinson is a 27-year-old fiddle player hailing from the mountains of Southeastern Kentucky, where her heart beats strong for hillbilly and traditional music. A passionate and skilled musician, Natalie has been a fixture in the regional music scene for over a decade.

She has been performing with Sunrise Ridge since 2015, joined the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud on a part-time basis in 2021, and most recently became a member of The Honkytonk Wranglers in March 2025. In addition to her regular performances, Natalie frequently collaborates with a variety of artists, including guitarist Kyle Eldridge, and is in demand as a recording studio musician.

Outside of performing, Natalie shares her love for the fiddle through private lessons. She is a proud graduate of the Kentucky School of Bluegrass & Traditional Music’s Professional Studio Artist Program at Hazard Community and Technical College (HCTC), where she graduated with honors in 2018. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Lincoln Memorial University in December 2020, graduating with honors.

Deeply rooted in Appalachian tradition yet always looking ahead, Natalie Tomlinson continues to bring authenticity, energy, and heart to every stage she steps on.
